• One of our priorities is 75 Emerging Pastor Leaders (total of 150 pastor leaders of all demographics). We know that God calls pastors of all ages but we recognize that there is a great need for younger pastors to hear the call to reach the emerging generations. Pray that God will raise up new leaders and that God may use you to encourage and bless potential pastor leaders in your church.
• Please pray for the various ministry groups in our churches (children, youth, adult, senior, Alpha, small groups, etc.). Pray that they may grow increasingly passionate about reaching those who need to know Christ as well as leading Christ-followers in a deepening walk with Him. Pray for all the various leaders, teachers and others that they may be strengthened and encouraged.

Men’s group in our area is meets Thursdays at 10am. It is a combination of men from New Hope & St. Marks. The location this winter is at NEW HOPE in Western Shore.
LQBA - October 5th, 9:00am -Fall Business Meeting - An early reminder that the fall business meeting for our Association will be Saturday, at Chelsea Baptist Church.
September 3rd, 7:00 p.m, Tuesday – WMS/ABW will meet in the classroom downstairs. Roll call word is ‘Heaven’. All are welcome.
September 7th, 9am to 12pm, Saturday – All Youth Ministry Workshop
September 14th. 11am to 3pm - Community Fun Day here at the church and 3pm to 8pm at the Legion with music, games and a pig roast. Fireworks over the basin at dark.

September 28th – 2:00- 4:00 pm, Saturday - All ladies are invited to an “Afternoon Tea” to be held at Barss Corner Community Hall, 891 Barss Corner Rd., N.S. This is an opportunity to SUPPORT, PRAY FOR & ENCOURAGE the ten women who serve our Lord through ministry in our Lunenburg/Queens Association Churches. September 29th – 7:00 pm – Chester United Baptist presents Curtis And Bonnie Szakacs & Family There will be a free will offering during the Concert. Come and join us at 6:30 pm for a hymn sing before the concert. Please come and enjoy the talent this group has to offer. Cd’s will be available after the show.
