• Please pray for our Atlantic Baptist Mission Board for their role in encouraging our churches to join God in their neighbourhoods. Each year the board gives out ministry initiative grants to churches in the area of evangelism, church planting, intercultural ministries, and special mission projects.

 Weekly In Our Church Family

EVERY TUESDAY- 2:00 p.m.- Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at **WSUBC.

EVERY WEDNESDAY, 7 pm to 9pm, – Wednesday night Group Study at David & Kelly Moore’s home, 23 Target Hill Rd., Chester. Phone No. 902-275-2229. Everyone is invited. Starts October 2nd.

EVERY FRIDAY, YOUTH GROUP – 6pm-8pm Grades Primary to 12. All Welcome, as well as looking for Teens to help.

ALTERNATING FRIDAYS  – YOUNGISH Adult Group – 6pm-8:30pm.  Come and join us as we build relationships on our walk.

EVERY THURSDAY. - ATTENTION WOMEN - Please join us for an eight-week Bible study “Stuck” is a Bible study experience leading women to the invisible struggles that we fight and to the God who has to set us free. Thursday evenings 7:00pm at Aenon Baptist Church Study written by Jennie Allen www.jennieallen.com.  Hosted by Donna T and Lisa. Come grow with us!

Nov. 30th, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Saturday - Fall Fair at the Chester United Baptist Church (84 King Street.  Canteen available.  Felting, Tatting, Jewellery, Knitted Items, Sewn Garments, Hand Painted Glassware, Wooden Crafts, 31 Gifts, Emu Oil Products, Hand Painted Tree/Window Ornaments, Mary Kay Products and Bake Table.  Great items to complete your Christmas shopping!

Nov. 30th, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. St. Stephen’s Annual Christmas Bazaar (54 Regent Street, Chester) Lunch starts 11:00 am.  Adults $9, Children under 10 years $5.  Come browse the bake table, new or gentle used items, Christmas items, books, crafts and pick up a beautiful decorated Christmas wreath – lots to see.

Dec. 1st 3pm, Sunday – WSUBC Christmas Reading and Song Service.  Southwind to preform with a social time afterwards.  All are welcome.

Dec. 1st, 7 pm, Sunday – Christmas Gospel Concert at Chester United Baptist 84 King Street, Chester with Singing moms, Whitman Giffin, Elaine Hatt, Rusty Nails, Carpenter Brothers, Agnes Clinton, Jimmy & Judy Manuel, Chester Moss and possibly more. Come and join us, Christmas carols starting at 6:30 pm. See you there.

Dec. 3rd, 6:30 pm, Tuesday - WMS will meet in the fellowship hall to prepare 20 boxes and secret sister exchange. Please have items individually wrapped.

Dec. 4th, 9:30 am, Wednesday – CWC- You are invited to join for a brunch featuring "A Miraculous Journey", at the Chester Basin Legion Hall, #25 H'way #12, Chester Basin. Costs $7.00. FEATURE: "A Miracle is Born" - You'll be blown away when you hear some of the stories about how far and wide Baby Ruby's little rocks have traveled, presentation by Marty and Wanda Murphy. MUSIC: "Songs from the Heart" crooning tunes by Sterling and Collette Gates. Reservations and/or cancellations and complimentary nursery please call Donna at 902-275-5887

Dec. 6th. 6:30pm, Friday - Christmas Tree lighting at Anvil Park. Join us for Carol Sing and hot chocolate.

Dec. 17th, 6pm, Tuesday – Leadership Christmas Supper

Dec. 18th, 7:30 pm, Wednesday - 20th Annual Sing Choirs Evening of Christmas Music at the Chester United Baptist Church, 84 King Street, starting 7:30 pm.   Local Choirs and youth programs participating. Admission is pay-what-you-will at the door, to benefit the Chester Area Middle School Well-Fed Students Lunch Program.
