CABC (Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches)

               • Today is CBAC Sunday – let’s celebrate this partnership of churches across Atlantic Canada and what God is doing through us.

               • The annual ministry wives retreat, REFRESH, happens November 1-3. Please pray that God will richly bless and renew them as they gather together for worship, learning and fun. Please also use this opportunity to pray for and show appreciation for your pastor’s spouse, being aware of and responsive to their ongoing need for friendship, encouragement and support within the fellowship of the local church.

EVERY FRIDAY, YOUTH GROUP – 6pm-8pm Grades Primary to 12. All Welcome, as well as looking for Teens to help.

 

ALTERNATING FRIDAYS starting on OCTOBER 4th – YOUNGISH Adult Group – 6pm-8:30pm.  Come and join us as we build relationships on our walk.

Oct. 31st, Thursday at 5pm?? Trunk or Treat.  Dress up in a non-scary costume and join us to pass out candy in the parking lot of the church.  Hot chocolate and fun for everyone!!

November 2nd, Saturday 10 am to 3 pm. - Forest Heights Community School students traveling to Europe in April 2020 are having a Christmas Craft Fair at the Chester Legion, Saturday, Table rentals are $25 per table.  Admission is $2 or Food Bank item donation.

Nov. 3rd, Sunday - 6:45pm, Aenon Gospel Music night,  Special Guests are Silver tone (Liverpool & Italy Cross area) and Bonded Connection. There will be a light lunch following the program. Freewill offering.  Everyone welcomes!

November 4th, Monday – 11:00 a.m. – Baptist Women’s Day of Prayer. Speaker Rev. Sheila Ago. Why not plan to attend and bring a friend. Social time to follow.

November 6th, Wednesday, 9:30 am - CWC Brunch at Chester Basin Legion. “Treasured Melodies” by the ‘Singing Moms’ directed by Jean Finney. Life saving message from Donna Smith from New Brunswick.

Nov. 16th, 9am, Saturday – ‘35th Annual Christmas Craft Fair hosted by the Legion and AEnon Baptist Church’ (because it will be at both locations). Aenon will have a table and proceeds will go towards updating our AV systems.
