CABC (Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches) – August 19th, 2018

            • Oasis 2018 – Aug. 23-25, Acadia University, Wolfville, NS. This is our 172nd family gathering. The theme is Turning Point. Please pray that God’s spirit would move in our churches and neighbourhoods! Come enjoy worship, fellowship and much more. See you there!

            • Please pray for the members of our CBAC’s Examining Council for Ordination, as well as those who will come before the Council of their peers this week, that the Spirit of the Lord will grant wisdom as the ordination examinations are conducted.

August 23-25.  OASIS at Acadia University.   The theme is called "Turning Point" as we wrestle with where our churches are in this current time.  Anyone can register to attend and are welcome to do so at oasis.baptist-atlantic.ca

 September 4th - 7:00pm, Tuesday -  Leadership meeting in the Fellowship Hall

 September 6th - 7:00pm, Thursday - Deacons Meeting in the Library

 September 8th,  9:00am-1:00pm, Saturday  Workshop for all those involved in leading youth ministries.

September 15th, 11am-3pm, Saturday.  Community Fun Day at AEnon followed by events at the Legion from 3-5pm with a Pig Roast at 5pm along with live music.  The day ends with fireworks down by the wharf at 9pm.  Come and join us as we celebrate our community.

September 23 – 3 pm, Sunday - Sherwood Church Summer Schedule (3pm) (last) Rev. Ron Baxter, music by Jim and Judy Manuel.

September 25th- 7:00pm, Tuesday - Quarterly Business Meeting in the Fellowship Hall.  All committee reports are to be given orally.  

NOTE: Goldie Levy is now at Cove Ridge Estates at #39. Visitors are welcome to visit her.
