CABC (Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches) – May 27th, 2018
• Give thanks for the continued growing ministry of the Atlantic Baptist Foundation as they assist our churches and agencies with financing for new church development, extension projects, and grants to strengthen various ministries of the CBAC. As God blesses this ministry, it in turn is able to bless others. Pray for the board as they make these decisions.
• The Financial Planning Seminar takes place May 29-30 at Crandall University, Moncton, NB. Hosted by our CBAC’s Pension & Insurance Board Pastors and other church ministry staff, as well as their spouses, gather to attend a financial/retirement-planning seminar. Please pray that God will give wisdom as they listen to presentations relating to stewardship issues preparing for retirement.
• Church to pray for: Second Falls United Baptist Church, Second Falls, NS (Southwestern Association, Region 1); Pastor Reg Ward.

Clothing Depot “We need helpers for the Clothing Depot, We would like to have a regular opening time each week. To work the depot there is no need for sorting or organizing the clothes. We just need 2 people to be there and greet the people. You can sit and read a book if you wish. If you are interested please call 902 275 8601 or email firstname.lastname@example.org"
Youth Ministry - This is a message for anyone involved in youth ministry at the church (youth group, kids club, VBS). We are asking all volunteers to renew their criminal record checks & vulnerable sector checks and submit them to me. We have letters from the church you will need to use to get the check done for free. Please see me about this and then when you go to the Chester Detachment you will not be charged for the check. We'd like all volunteers in these ministries to have this done before July 1st. If you've done this process for another group or your place of employment and it has been done within the last year you can submit a copy as well. Thank you for your assistance. Joe+
