CABC (Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches) –Weekly prayer – July 23rd, 2017 

            • Tidal Impact 2017 began yesterday! Host churches and visiting churches have come together for one of the largest youth mission tours in Canada. Pray for the churches and communities of Halifax & Bridgewater and surrounding areas. Pray that faith will be strengthened, lives will be changed and neighbourhoods will clearly see the love of God displayed.

Church to pray for: Second Chipman United Church, Chipman, NB (Queens-Sunbury Association, Region 2); Rev. Gerald Burke.

Tuesday – 2:00 pm Bible Study and Prayer Meeting Resumes September 5th

Summer Ministry Preschool Club- Ages 3-5 @ CUBC with Kathryn Green and Kyria Bond from 9:30 -11:30 am Every Monday of the summer.

Kids Club- Ages 6-11 @ CUBC with Kathryn Green and Kyria Bond from 9:30 -11:30 am Every Tuesday of the summer.

AENON Jr. High Kids Club Grades 5-9 @ AENON Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Green, Kathryn Green and Kyria Bond EVERY Thursday from 1:0 – 3:00 PM 

July 24th -28th.   VBS Vocational Bible School runs. Time 9 to 11:30 a.m. All school age children welcomed. Title:  High Seas Expedition – “Exploring the Mighty Love of God”. VBS Request – Donations of craft supplies for VBS required: Pillowcases (no patterns), cereal boxes (or scrap cardboard) and sharpie markers. Nautical props for classrooms and sanctuary are also required. For further information contact Kelly. Thank you. Also Tidal Impact Visit during this week.

July 28th –6:00 pm, Friday -  Tidal Impact Public Rally @ Bridgewater Baptist Church

August 6th. Bonny Lea Lobster Volunteers - We are looking for volunteers to help serve at the Bonny Lea Lobster Supper @ Bonny Lea from 3:30 pm to 6:30 Areas that jump to mind are parking attendants from 3-5  or 4-6, waiting on tables 4-7 or clean up from 6-9 pm.  There is also the opportunity for setting up the gym Friday afternoon from 1-4.  if some cannot come on the Sunday. Please notify Kyria Bond or Pastor Joe if you are able to help.

August 13th, Sunday, help us celebrate Canada's 150th birthday as well as the 100th Anniversary of the Explosion of the Elle D Schooner in Chester Basin Harbour. Website: Chester Basin "Canada 150" Celebration

Shoreham Village Store - Volunteers needed. Looking for folks in the community who have an interest in volunteering in our new Shoreham Variety Store.  We need spares for Monday to Fridays 1-3 pm and interested folks who may be able to open the store in the evenings 6-8 pm and weekends 1-3 pm. If you can help any of these times please contact 902-275-5631 ext. 233

Condolences - We extend our condolences to  Andrew Shute’s family, Sonny Sawler’s family  and to Sylvia Webber in the passing of her brother, Parker. Gideon bibles have been placed in their memory.
