CABC (Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches) – November 19th, 2017

            • Please pray for our military chaplains - Gordon Poley, Troy Dennis, David Egers, Daniel Walton, Heather Donovan, Randall Read, Corey Pickens, Warren Clapham, Darryl Levy, and Brenda Zwicker. As well we have others who serve in the reserves. Please pray for God’s wisdom, protection and enabling as they minister the Good News of Jesus Christ with our military’s men and women who serve our country here in Canada and around the world.

            Church to pray for: The Grove Community, Halifax, NS (Church plant in Halifax); Rev. Miro Rak.

EVERY WEDNESDAY, 7 pm to 9pm., – Bible Study group at David & Kelly Moore’s home, 23 Target Hill Rd., Chester. Phone No. 902-275-2229. Everyone is invited.

EVERY FRIDAY, YOUTH GROUP – 6pm to 7:30pm Elementary school ages, 6pm to 8:30pm Jr. High school ages, 7pm to 8:30pm High school ages

November 24th, 6-8:30 pm EVERYONE is invited to come help celebrate Terry's 50th Birthday!! in the Fellowship Hall. Love to see his church family there. Stop by when you can, or come for the entire time. Food Fun Laughter and Fellowship😊

November 26th, 3:30 pm, Sunday. The Group "Shepherds Joy" will be presenting a Christmas concert entitled "Its All About The Cross" at The New Cornwall Baptist Church. The proceeds from a free will offering will go to support the work of The Salvation Army.

Dec. 3rd, 3pm, Sunday – Celebrating Christmas through Reading and Song, WSUBC, hosted by the WMS.

Dec. 3rd, 7:00 pm, Sunday – Christmas Gospel Concert at Chester United Baptist Church, 84 King Street, Chester. Featuring Singing moms, Doug Ross, Whitman Giffin, Elaine Hatt, Rusty Nails, Carpenter Brothers, Chester Moss, Agnes Clinton, Jimmy & Judy Manuel and possibly more. Come and join us, everyone is welcome. Great music with Christmas Carols stating at 6:30 pm. Fellowship to follow concert. Hope to see you there! 

Dec. 9th, 10:00 am, Saturday - at St Mark’s Anglican church in Martin’s Point, Men’s meeting.  Come out and hear Manfred Kohl who is very evident that this man from an early age has dedicated his life to doing the Lord’s work. These day’s he and his wife Barbara are travelling to 3rd world countries equipping church leaders. I know you will be encouraged as you hear Manfred share his story. Feel free to bring a friend(s) along. RSVP Dec. 6th, Wed. to Doug Cleveland at (902) 624-9847. There will be coffee and snack’s to munch on. Hope to see you.

December 10th at 11:00 am, Sunday -  Youth Group/Kids Club Christmas Concert Play.

December 15th 7-8:30 pm, Friday - Church is invited to go caroling for the Light House Food Bank.

December 22 or December 29- No youth group (resumes back January 5, 2018)
